Ultra Low Sulfur – Biodiesel

Winter Weather Advisory

11-28-2006

American Ag Fuels and the National Biodiesel Board are suggesting to its distributors and other consumers that they should consider a “winter weather advisory” from now until March 1, 2007.

What this means is that as the blending of Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel and Biodiesel is fine-tuned, users should be most confident throughout the season using blends of B5 to B10.  “Winter in the Midwest is not the time to stop using biodiesel, but rather to be prudent using blends of 5-10 %. People still want biodiesel”, according; to Brent Damman, Chief Operating Officer at AAF.

Biodiesel, like petroleum diesel, performs well in cold weather with proper use and handling. As a service, AAF offers a winterizer additive to our distributors. Alternatively, distributors may use their own preferred winterizer.

Fuel quality and consumer confidence is of the highest priority to AAF and the biodiesel industry. Please call us at 419-784-3835 should you have any questions or concerns.
